The State Museum - Het Rijksmuseum
After 10 years of renovation work, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam reopened in spring 2013, with renovated buildings, improving accessibility and new public facilities: a redesigned garden and a new pavilion dedicated to Asia.
Schedule at least half a day for this museum and even than you will have to come back as you will not be able to see everything even in one day.
The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam is the first major national museum to open 365 days a year to the public.
